           Another war erupted today when Bane, leader of DV, decided to raid KS. LD quickly came to the side of KS to help them defend against the new invader. NA, still angry by recent raids from KS, decided to help DV in a retaliation effort. From this point, like always, more and more clans became involved in this war including: GOW, BW, COL, and PWN. The war reached a peak when blue (DV) overwhelmed red and the red gradually lost the will to fight. The war grew inactive and ended up in a standoff, DV being the obvious victor.

           This prolonged war started out from GOW’s campaign into room 92, which is TRE base. GOW raided in an attempted take over along with KS, WOL, and LD by their side. TRE quickly called DV to help. The war was mainly red dominated until COL and IKO arrived at TRE and DV’s side to help. The numbers quickly evened out and at one point turned in favor of the defenders. The war stopped and started again many times until it turned into a “stakeout” with both sides waiting for the other to leave. For GOW, this is just one of the many raids it has done on TRE. The only difference is this time they came for TRE’s base, which was being defended by four clans. Rambo decided to do away with room 67 and declare room 92 GOW’s base for now. Rambo quotes:

 "Were going to conquer this base, when DV leaves it’s ours. TRE think they are safe hiding behind DV.”

           Bane, leader of DV, also said he would stay and defend TRE, his oldest ally. By this time TRE and DV had outnumbered GOW, the only remaining enemy clan in the room. But GOW was determined to wait it out. Griffmaster, who was disappointed by Rambo’s decision quit GOW on the spot and joined DV. Griffmaster commented, saying the war was a “lost cause”. Trace also joined DV in mid-war, saying he would “rather be on the winning side”.

           The fighting erupted again after GOW gathered forces by the pillars, DV responded by gathering by the bridge. Although outnumbered, Rambo decided to charge the bridge. GOW’s forces were cut down but they continued to fight with no apparent end in sight.

           DV ended up leaving when GOW was down to only two people in the room. Bane said “TRE can handle it from here” and DV returned to their base in room 67. The base was left to GOW and TRE. After four hours of on and off fighting, there was no apparent winner. GOW and TRE still remain in the same room. LoneEros, leader of TRE says he has no plans on letting GOW have the base. Rambo feels the same way. How this base occupation will end is unclear at this point. For now GOW and TRE both want room 92, and they both have a number of allies at their side. A quote from Rambo seems to sum up this war.

           A rather chaotic and odd war erupted today. A few people known as the “The Pokemon” decided to raid DV in their base. They all had names of various Pokemon like Pikachu, Charmander, and Blaziken. KO heard about the war and decided to crash the party, coming in as a third color. This led to a few other clans becoming a small part in the war like KS. The war died down and the Pokemon and KO left, drawing this three way war to an end. The identities of the Pokemon remain unknown, although it is speculated that they were members of TBA.

           I was over in Sapphire when I heard that TBA had been raided by a number of clans. I, along with KO, headed over to Emerald room 72 to see what was going on. Upon arrival, KO decided to take TBA’s side and even up the battle. The battle, which had been in favor of the other clans, started to turn back towards TBA’s. With the help of KO, light blue started to take the room back from the Sapphire invaders. As the battle turned, Warman pulled out FF and told them to ignore TBA and KO. After FF’s departure from the battle the rest of the clans quickly fell apart and the war sizzled out. KO went back to Sapphire victorious and TBA’s base was returned to normal.

Lance- 6/15/09

           KO’s occupation of BW’s base has spurred some recent conflicts between the two clans. These conflicts usually begin on the weekends when KO is most active, and sometimes can last all day. Recently LordS decided to attack BW with a huge force. The battle, like most others between these two clans, lasted quite a long time until it faded out into a stalemate. KO’s occupation of room 90 is nothing new in the chapter of KO. Back in 2006 KO occupied BW’s base in room 92 Emerald causing chaos and attacking them repeatedly. BW seemed to disappear for a while, it was highly believed by KO at the time that they had retreated into the dungeons. BW finally ended up moving bases to 90 Sapphire. Once again, KO declares all out war on BW and battles continue to erupt between these two clans. It’s not clear at the present who the winner of this prolonged war will be. As with most wars between these two clans, the winner remains undetermined.

Lance- 6/14/09

           Tao's clan LD has been involved in an ongoing war against DV. In a number of recent attacks LD has crossed servers from Emerald into Sapphire and has raided DV's base in room 78. I happened to stumble upon one of these wars and pictured the events. It was a massive raid, LD having the superior numbers. The war was obviously a win for LD. LD, being a relativly new clan to Sapphire, is quickly making a name for themselves with these raids. They have even attracted the likes of Flame, former Chief of BW, who was a member of LD. These wars are certainly a clash of two giants, and the winner has yet to be decided.
